Alyss Heart can't stand that "master of fantasy" bunk; she knows that Lewis Carroll was nothing more than an incompetent reporter. After she generously shared her Wonderland experiences with this fledgling author, he totally botched the retelling, even mangling her name. Alyss, however, refuses to merely grouse; she and royal bodyguard Hatter Madigan decide to make another emergency excursion down the rabbit hole, opening our eyes to parallel realms that prim Rev. Dodgson never imagined. A refreshing take on a Victorian classic.
Okay many of your think that this book is the remake of Alice in Wonderland book by Lewis Carrol. Sadly its not. Yeah it may have characters that are similar to those of the Alice of Wonderlands  but I say once again this book is not the remake of the book. Okay now since I have gotten my point across lets start.

Alyss Heart the girl that is next in line for the crown when her mom steps down is an important acomplishment but however that is the last thing on her mind. Getting in trouble with her best friend Dodge proves to be more of an adventure when things turn upside down. Her aunt, Redd, attacks and kills her mom. Alyss manages to flee from her clutches with her bodyguard Hatter. Fleeing into another world Alyss life will change. Will she ever go back and reclaim what is rightfully hers or will she hide away in the new world and forget about her past.

I loved the whole story, the adventures and the battles that took on. Even the ones that took place on the same side. Having support all around your army will make you victorious. The pictures that appeared in the middle of the book I thought was cool. Yeah yeah I know I shouldnt be talking about the art but the book itself but it was part of the book.

I loved the character of the Hatter. I cant really explain why I loved him I just did. Something about the way he acted, looked, and above all cared just got me to liking him.

This book was a grand adventure all on its own. Filled with drama, action, love, courageous people and evil enemies that just wouldn't die. And yes Im talking about the Cat. Never trust cats, they will turn on you at any instant.

I reccommend this book to anyone looking for a adventure/fantasy book. Although you may think that this is a tale of Alice of Wonderland I strongly tell you that its not. So check it out, read it and I promise you will like it just as I did.

I give this book 5 souls!
