Review: Spirit Bound

Title: Spirit Bound
Author: Richelle Mead
Publisher: Razorbill
Release Date: May 18, 2010
Book: Bought

After a long and heartbreaking journey to Dimitri’s birthplace in Siberia, Rose Hathaway has finally returned to St. Vladimir’s—and to her best friend, Lissa Dragomir. It's graduation, and the girls can’t wait for their real lives outside of the Academy’s cold iron gates to finally begin. But even with the intrigue and excitement of court life looming, Rose’s heart still aches for Dimitri. He's out there, somewhere.

She failed to kill him when she had the chance, and now her worst fears are about to come true. Dimitri has tasted her blood, and she knows in her heart that he is hunting her. And if Rose won't join him, he won't rest until he's silenced her...forever.

But Rose can't forget what she learned on her journey—whispers of a magic too impossible and terrifying to comprehend. A magic inextricably tied to Lissa that could hold the answer to all of Rose's prayers, but not without devastating consequences. Now Rose will have to decide what—and who—matters most to her. In the end, is true love really worth the price?

The last book of the series left us hanging. Not being able to kill the one she loves, has put Rose, herself, and the people she loves in danger. However, she has to put that aside for something of more importance. Graduation! Yes, they are finally graduating, but that doesnt mean more freedom. This book took me on a trip I will never froget.

Rose and Lissa are maturing from one book to another. They are becoming more mature about the decisions that they choose to make. Well at Lissa is. However, Rose knows of a secret magic that deals with Lissa. Will she tell? Or will she keep the hidden secret hidden a little bit longer.

Grabing me from the very begginning, I never once put this book down. I tell all readers and whoever to read this because you will not be dissappointed. Not once.

I give this book 5 souls!

Review: Blood Promise

Title: Blood Promise
Author: Richelle Mead
Publisher: Razorbill
Release Date: August 25, 2009
Book: Bought

The recent attack on St. Vladimir's Academy devastated the entire Moroi world. Many are dead. And, for the few victims carried off by Strigoi, their fates are even worse. A rare tattoo now adorns Rose's neck, a mark that says she's killed far too many Strigoi to count. But only one victim matters . . . Dimitri Belikov. Rose must now choose one of two very different paths: honoring her life's vow to protect Lissa—her best friend and the last surviving Dragomir princess—or, dropping out of the Academy to strike out on her own and hunt down the man she loves. She'll have to go to the ends of the earth to find Dimitri and keep the promise he begged her to make. But the question is, when the time comes, will he want to be saved?

Now, with everything at stake—and worlds away from St. Vladimir's and her unguarded, vulnerable, and newly rebellious best friend—can Rose find the strength to destroy Dimitri? Or, will she sacrifice herself for a chance at eternal love?

This book was emotional for me. The struggle that Rose had to go through, and the choice she would have to make. If I was in her shoes, I wouldnt know what to do. Killing the one you love is the hardest decision anyone would have to make; I believe that Rose made a good decision.

The thing I kinda didnt like was that she put her best friend, in the whole world, to the side lines while she figured out what to do. In this world, your friends are the people who will stand by you with the decisions that you make, even if they can get you klilled. Im not saying that you should rely on your friends 100%. But you, as a person, should always have them standing right behind you.

This book is filled with words that will bring out your inner emotions. Some that you never realized that you have. I reccommend all readers to pick up this  book and check it out.

I give thsi book 5 souls!

Review: Shadow Kiss

Title: Shadow Kiss
Author: Richelle Mead
Publisher: Razorbill
Release Date: November 13, 2008
Book: Bought

For Rose Hathaway, everything seems out of kilter. Ever since she made her first Strigoi kills, a dark shadow has been creeping over her. Looming in the background, too, is another realization: If she follows her forbidden love for guardian Dimitri Belikov, she might lose her best friend forever. And these sleep-shaking worries couldn't have come at a worse time. The immortal unloving are prowling everywhere, famished for vengeance against her. An adrenaline-laced episode of the teen pop favorite Shadow Academy.

This is the third book in the series, and let me tell you, Im loving it. Rose is feeling too good after her first killing, and it has to do with her connection with Lissa. Hopefully she will figure what going on soon. Seeing things is never a good sign.

The relationship between Rose and Dimitri is growing and its getting hot. But Rose has to be careful that she doesnt lose her friends because of this. You will always need your friends no matter what.

Okay now the ending that's where I wanted to throw the book out a window. Why would she do that? I asked myself a million times when reading this book. However, in the end I knew why she did it and she had a good reason.

Once again Im blown away with this series. I recommend all readers, bloggers, and just whoever wants to read to pick up this book or if you havent started then this series.

I give it 5 souls!

Review: Frostbite

Title: Frostbite
Author: Richelle Mead
Publisher:Razorbill
Release Date:April 10, 2008
Book: Bought

Rose loves Dimitri, Dimitri might love Tasha, and Mason would die to be with Rose…
It's winter break at St. Vladimir's, but Rose is feeling anything but festive. A massive Strigoi attack has put the school on high alert, and now the Academy's crawling with Guardians—including Rose's hard-hitting mother, Janine Hathaway. And if hand-to-hand combat with her mom wasn't bad enough, Rose's tutor Dimitri has his eye on someone else, her friend Mason's got a huge crush on her, and Rose keeps getting stuck in Lissa's head while she's making out with her boyfriend, Christian! The Strigoi are closing in, and the Academy's not taking any risks… This year, St. Vlad's annual holiday ski trip is mandatory.
But the glittering winter landscape and the posh Idaho resort only create the illusion of safety. When three friends run away in an offensive move against the deadly Strigoi, Rose must join forces with Christian to rescue them. But heroism rarely comes without a price…

What I love most about this book is all the drama that it contains. The secret love affair between Rose and Dimitri is just so cute but in a way it sucks. Rose, in the position that she is in, cant be with him and if by chance she has a baby she has to give it up. Okay, what kind of freak world would do that to a person. It was sad when she gave him up thinking that no good would come from it.

What I didnt like about the book was the way that Rose used Mason. He was a really sweet guy, and he really cared for her and than she goes and does something like that. Yeah, she was trying to make Dimitri jealous but come on.

Lissa finally found someone that she can kinda realte too and talk to about her many problems. Christian! I believe that they would make a cute couple, no doubt about it.

All the characters are growing, slowly but growing. I dont like to read a book where the main characters change and you dont get to experience it first hand.

I really enjoyed this book and I cant wait for the next installment of the series.

I give this book 5 souls!

Now, Amy must race to unlock Godspeed's hidden secrets. But out of her list of murder suspects, there's only one who matters: Elder, the future leader of the ship and the love she could never have seen coming.

I want to warn all readers that this book contains a rape scene. If you dont want your child exposed to this dont pick it up.  But for those who want to know how long this scene goes on for, its only 2 pages. So its not that much, but its descriptive.

I dont know if I loved this book but i didnt hate it. The book was slow for me at the beginning. I just couldnt get into it. But I didnt give up. I kept telling myself that the book will get better. Thank God it did. The ending was so much better. I was juming up and down. was so excited.

I couldnt believe Elder did that. I just couldnt believe it! I knew something was up but I just forgot about it. That totally blew my mind. I just couldnt believe it.
Yeah, I knew he did it for a good reason but I still thought it wasnt the smartest thing.

The ending saved this book for me. I cant wait for the next installment of it. I hope the book is like the ending of this book.

I give this book 3 souls!

Sixteen-year-old Miranda Merchant is great at science. . .and not so great with boys. After major drama with her boyfriend and (now ex) best friend, she's happy to spend the summer on small, mysterious Selkie Island, helping her mother sort out her late grandmother's estate.

Is Leo hiding something? Or is he something that she never could have imagined?

I dont know why. And Im sorry to say this but I could not get into this book. I feel like I let my self down when I had to force myself to read this book. I wouldnt say its horrible but its not the book for me.

The story line was very easy to follow, I liked the characters, but like I said I was not connecting with this book.

Usually I love the romance books that have something out of the ordinary happen. Like this book! I just didnt feel it.

Although I didnt get captured by this book, doesnt mean you wont. So fellow readers and bloggers, check this book out because yuo may prove me wrong.

Review: The Goddess Test

Title: The Goddess Test
Author: Aimee Carter
Publisher: Harlequin
Release Date: April 19, 2011
Book: Borrowed

It's always been just Kate and her mom—and her mother is dying. Her last wish? To move back to her childhood home. So Kate's going to start at a new school with no friends, no other family and the fear her mother won't live past the fall.

Then she meets Henry. Dark. Tortured. And mesmerizing. He claims to be Hades, god of the Underworld—and if she accepts his bargain, he'll keep her mother alive while Kate tries to pass seven tests.

Kate is sure he's crazy—until she sees him bring a girl back from the dead. Now saving her mother seems crazily possible. If she succeeds, she'll become Henry's future bride, and a goddess.

OMG! I finally am reading a book about the Greek Gods. So excited! Although they really didnt bring the gods until the end of the book I still enjoyed it. I loved how they brought the story of Persephone into a more modern tale.

I felt bad for Hades. Like I really did. He was a normal guy looking for someone to love. And his stupid relative try to make him fade away. Thats just typical of relatives. Always trying to get in your way because they are jealous of you.

The ending was a real shocker for me. Seriously! I was not expecting that at all. It left me breathless. So I advise you to check this book out. I enjoyed it, you will enjoy, almost everyone will enjoy it. So check it out!

I give this book 5 souls!

St. Vladimir’s Academy isn’t just any boarding school—it’s a hidden place where vampires are educated in the ways of magic and half-human teens train to protect them. Rose Hathaway is a Dhampir, a bodyguard for her best friend Lissa, a Moroi Vampire Princess. Rose and Lissa become enmeshed in forbidden romance, the Academy’s ruthless social scene, and unspeakable nighttime rituals. But they must be careful lest the Strigoi—the world’s fiercest and most dangerous vampires—make Lissa one of them forever.

Vampire Academy was not a book I would have picked up. I was in the stage of not reading vampire books. Luckily my friend insisted I pick up this book because she knew I would enjoy it. So fine! I picked up the book, and wow I didnt just like the book, I loved it.

I loved Rose because she was the one with the bad attitude, that always said what was in her mind. But seriouslu Rose, you need to learn how to fight. Lissa was just super sweet. Now lets get to the character that everyone is talking about. Dimitri Belikov! The sexy, hunk of a man that has every girl screaming his name.

The plot was fast-paced and I was hooked to its pages from beginning to end. I was glad that my friend pushed me to read this book because I thought it was awesome! If your the person that wants to  stop reading Vampire books, push that thought away and pick up this book to read.

Usually Im not the type of guy who likes to watch horror movies, read horror books, or have anything to do with horror in it. If you want to know why, read this book!

This book made me have nightmares, I couldnt sleep at all. This book isnt bad but its not the book for me. I know tons of people who would love this book. It is truly terrifying. It will leave you crawling with goosebumps.

The plot was easy to follow, but I kinda got lost a couple times and had to go back to re-read sections. I recommend this book to people who truly love horror books because if you do, this book will leave you wanting more. Like I said this book is good but not for me.

Release Date: May 1, 2009
Book: Borrowed

Laurel was mesmerized, staring at the pale things with wide eyes. They were terrifyingly beautiful—too beautiful for words.

Laurel turned to the mirror again, her eyes on the hovering petals that floated beside her head. They looked almost like wings.

In this extraordinary tale of magic and intrigue, romance and danger, everything you thought you knew about faeries will be changed forever.

I love books like these that are simple to read, understandable plot, good characters. Just being able go sit down and enjoy a book is always something I look forward too and this book made that happen.

I never wanted to put the book down because it was good. The story kept moving, it never left me hanging. Oh I wish all books were like this. Usually Im not into a book with Faeries in it because I think they are too girly for me but gladly this wasnt.

There was action, adventure, love triangles, in this book that was able to keep the book moving forward. I look forward to reading the next installment of this book. I advise all girls and guys to check this book out.

Review: The Water Wars

Title: The Water Wars
Author: Cameron Stracher
Publisher: Sourcebooks Fire
Release Date: January 1, 2011
Book: Borrowed

Vera and her brother, Will, live in the shadow of the Great Panic, in a country that has collapsed from environmental catastrophe. Water is hoarded by governments, rivers are dammed, and clouds are sucked from the sky. But then Vera befriends Kai, who seems to have limitless access to fresh water. When Kai suddenly disappears, Vera and Will set off on a dangerous journey in search of him-pursued by pirates, a paramilitary group, and greedy corporations. Timely and eerily familiar, acclaimed author Cameron Stracher makes a stunning YA debut that's impossible to forget.

I can't imagine living in a world where water was rationed. When instead of the government giving you water that helped you, it made you sick. The competition to claim one boy that would lead you to a water source. Killing people that didnt make a difference to you wether they were alive. That readers is what they call a water war.

The plot that propelled the story was good and easy to follow. The book never once slowed down, and I couldnt stop reading its contents. I felt dehydrated when reading this book. Im the person who doesnt really like water, but I drink it because one its healty for you and second you need it to survive.

The only thing that didnt catch my attention was thta one moment the two main characters were captured by one, then captured by another group, saved by the first group only to be captured by a third group. The characters just kept being thrown back and forth among the different enemys of the story. Sometimes i had to read pages to figure out what happened. I thought at first I skipped a page or two but then realized that no they were just captured by another character.

Above all this book caught my attention and I have no doubt that it will catch your attention. So go check it out, buy it, I dont know just find a way to get a hold of this book and read it.

Review: Angel

Title: Angel
Author: James Patterson
Publisher: Little Brown
Release Date: February 14, 2011
Book: Library Book

In the seventh book in the bestselling series, evil scientists are still trying to convince Max that she needs to save the world, this time by providing the genetic link in speeding up the pace of evolution. Worse, they're trying to convince her that her perfect mate is Dylan, the newest addition to the flock. The problem is that, despite herself, Max is starting to believe it.

Fang travels the country collecting his own gang of evolved humans, but the two separate flocks must unite to defeat a frightening doomsday cult whose motto is Save the Planet: Kill the Humans. And this time, the true heroine, for once, might just be little Angel.

I couldnt believe it the last thing Max heard of from Fang was a romantic letter that said I love you but I cant be with you right now. What was happenning! And then to top things off, Dylan is the new member of the flock. But wait thats not all...The voice in Maxs head is telling her that he is her true mate. OMG! My head was spinning all throughout this book. I wanted to know what happened next...

This book kept me on my feet till the very end. And when the ending finally arrived, i was left breathless. My heart litterally stoped beating. I wasnt expecting for the book to end that way. But it did.

I didnt know what to do...Should I cry, should I just put the book down and move on...What should I do...IDK! I cant believe that this is the second to last book of the series that brought me into the world of the flock and took me on a Maximum Ride. This book I tell all readers to read, because it will move everyone and will leave the same effect it left me...

Being a kid with wings--constantly on the run--has never been easy, and Max and her flock are getting tenser than ever. First, on a trip to Africa, they meet a mysterious billionaire whose intense scrutiny of the Flock makes her fear the worst. Max's desperate desire to protect Fang brings the two closer than ever. But can the team weather the storm, or will the turmoil rip them apart for the last time?

Im finally happy that Fang and Max finally get some time to themselves. So happy! Its about time. Everything was going great until some guy pops up out of nowhere. Dylan! Why of all times does this dude have to pop up and ruin everything. Why!

Well whatever Dylan joins the group and everything seems to be going back to normal until...Max gets voited out of the flock. What was happening to this family. And of all people to vote her out it had to be little Angel. I say again, WHY!

This book was becoming my least favorite book because of all the randomness in it. Then to top it off Fang gets killed because of Angel. OMG! M y heart stopped beating for a second. Tears stopped me from continuing this book to see what would happen. I didnt expect it. This blew me away. I told myself that if Fang died, I would stop reading this series.

I finally calmed myself down to continue reading and I found out what happened. Fang... What you expect me to tell you? You think Im going to ruin this book for you. I dont think so. Go check it out...I dare you!

Title: Max
Author: James Patterson
Publisher: Little Brown
Release Date: March 16, 2009
Book: Bought

Just when Max and the Flock are settling into blissful freedom, a hoard of monstrous Machine Geeks come a-knockin'. These unholy hybrids are at the beck and call of Mr. Chu, a megalomaniac of uncommon intensity. James Patterson's Maximum Ride novel puts the pedal to the metal.

I dont know why, but I wasnt expecting this series to go to eco friendly. I'm not a hater about going eco and everything, because I totally love that. However, I just wasnt expecting it. I was confused. I was expecting it too be a major thing when they talked about saving the world and everything.
Im not saying that this book is bad and you should totally not check it out. Im saying, check this book out because this book will throw you off of what your thinking. I still love his idea of making the chapters soooo. short because thats really awesome.
There is still drama between Max and Fang of course. But there just kids what can you expect from them. Perfection. I highly doubt that since everytime they have free time they are being attacked and hunted down by this chinese dude who wants to take over the world.
Im not disappointed with this book. I still love it! I advise all people to check it out.

This book will turn you into an emotional wreck. By page 100, tears were already forming in my eyes. After that, I still wanted to cry. Seriously, this book left me dry. However, I didnt cry because this book was that bad. I cried because this book was this good.

Why Ansel! Why Ansel! I couldnt believe it, until it happened. I was so shocked that it just left me breatless. I knew where he was coming from, but I still thought he was careless. Idk, this part made me want to cry.

So basically this book thurned me into an emotional wreck. I dont know if I should be happy or not but whatever. I wasnt crying because it was a bad book, but because ti was an awesome book.

By following her heart, she might lose everything- including her own life. Is forbidden love worth the ultimate sacrifice?

People say you should never judge a book by its cover. Unfortunatley, I did! The cover of this book looked so wicked that I just had to pick it up and read. Fortuantley, in my opinion, the book proved to be as good as its cover.

I find only one fault with this book. The on and off romance that Calla was having with Shea behind Rens back was kind of making me angry. I dont know, I'm just not that type of person. But that was the only fault I found with this book. Otherwise, this book was AMAZING!.

I finished it within a matter of hours, my eyes racing across the pages. I couldnt get enough of it. It hurt when I had to put the book down to go eat, sleep , or use the restroom. So sad. But then happiness flooded back through my body when I picked up right where I had levt off.

This book is defintley filled with action, romance, sadness, adventure, ect. I recommend all readers to pick up a copy of this book and dive into its contents. I promise you wont be disappointed. I wasnt.

Review: City of the Falling Sky (The Seckry Sequence)

Title: City of the Falling Sky
Author: Joseph Evans
Publisher: Independent
Release Date:July 22, 2011
Book: EBook sent by Author

When fourteen year old Seckry Sevenstars is forced out of his village by the greedy Endrin Corporation and relocated to the daunting metropolis of Skyfall City, he harbours resentment for the company and vows to get them back one day for taking away his home, his school and his friends. Fortunately, the marvels of the city do a good job in distracting Seckry from his anger and homesickness, and it isn’t long before he’s competing at Friction (the city’s most popular multiplayer video game), slurping awe-inspiring multicoloured milkshakes, and getting butterflies on his first date. Then, when a mysterious email asks Seckry to break into the headquarters of the Endrin Corporation and steal a container full of worms for a hefty sum of money, his anger resurfaces, and he can’t resist the revenge he promised himself. Alone at night, Seckry creeps through the sewers whilst wondering what experiments Endrin might be doing on the worms, and emerges into the silent complex. But the worms aren’t the only thing that he finds. Staring at him through the darkness, with wide, innocent eyes, is something that makes Seckry’s heart almost stop. A girl. She’s shaking, petrified, and has no recollection of who she is or what she’s doing there. Floodlights bleach the area and Seckry has no choice but to grab a hold of the girl and escape with her. Suddenly the question of what Endrin were doing with a few worms becomes the last thing on Seckry’s mind. What were Endrin doing with a human?

Okay, before I talk about how awesome this book was, I want to say that this book made me laugh. I know that some parts were sad and serious but when you have to read all these weird names, you will want to laugh. Okay now I'm done talking abou the funny names. Lets get down to buisness.

This book captured me from the beginning. I had watched a book trailer of it and it caught my attention more. I heard and saw that it was better than the Harry Potter series. However, I disagree. The only reason why I'm disagreeing is because I grew up with the Harry Potter series and they were the first book that I really read on my own. So they will always be my favorite. But!But! This book is right below it, if not at the same level.

This book will grab you and make you want more. Filled with romance, action, adventure, sadness. All different kinds of emotions. This book is a must read. If you ever get a chance to read it, do not hesitate. I will not lie to and say this book is for everyone but I will say this, if you dont read this book you will be missing out on a awesome story that is waiting to unfold. I'm on my toes waiting for the next installment of this series.

I give this book 5 souls!

Full of nonstop action, suspense, and romance, this novel is sure to move readers as much as it thrills
.

I smiled. I screamed. I cried. Every possible emotion that a teenage boy could do I did. From the first word till the last, emotions coursed through my body like blood. I tried to put the book down many times but I couldn’t. I didn’t want to put the book down because I hated it, but because I loved it. This book moved me so much to the point of tears flooding my eyes.
The story starts with “Day” a teenage boy convicted of so many crimes one could not count. As a criminal people would assume that he would be a dangerous person, but as the story unfolds the people will learn many things about “Day” that has not been told.
Switching point of views, the author brings in “June.” Teachers would love her, smartest and brightest student. However, this girl comes with an attitude. Scoring a perfect score in the “Trials” test, her life is made for her. Being able to go to the best colleges and having a job for her that will bring honor and happiness to her family. Which family wouldn’t want more for their daughter? Wait there’s a downside. Her family includes herself and her older brother. Her parents dying in a car crash when she was too little too remember has brought some unhappiness to this family.
One night June gets a knock on her door saying that her brother was killed by Day. Wanting revenge she is dismissed from college and gets put on a mission of finding and capturing her brother’s killer. Finally finding him she begins to realize some things that don’t seem to click right away. Still unconvinced, she begins to find a way of capturing Day. All of sudden after following him one night she’s got him. Using his family to capture him was a great plan…when things go wrong. Finally things begin to click.
Finding the truth behind what the government has been really doing will soon bend the trust that June has put in them from the beginning. I’m saying this too the Government, look out.
This book filled every emotion, will keep you on your feet wanting more. If this book is put in the same category as “The Hunger Games” when released. I have only one thing to say “Hunger Games,” you have some competition.
I give this book 5 souls!

Review: The Final Wrning

Title: The Final Warning
Author: James Patterson
Publisher: Little Brown
Release Date: March 17, 2008
Book: Bought

Maximum Ride is a perfectly normal teenager who just happens to be able to fly, the result of an out-of-control government experiment.

Max and the other members of the Flock-six kids who share her remarkable ability-have been asked to aid a group of environmental scientists studying the causes of global warming. The expedition seems like a perfect combination of adventure, activism--and escaping government forces who watch the Flock like a hawk.

But even in Antarctica, trapped in the harshest weather on our planet, Maximum Ride is an irresistible target in constant danger. For whoever controls her powers could also control the world. Maximum Ride is James Patterson's greatest character, a heroine who manages to be human and fearless at once.

When I saw this book in stores, my heart started racing as I ran over and grabbed it off the shelves. I couldnt wait to see what was happening now in Max and her gangs life. I again finished this book within a matter of hours, but when I got to the part about Global Warming...Lets just say I wasnt expecting that.

When I  pictured Max and her family saving the world I had other ways that they might save the world. And Global Warming wasnt part of that. In my opinion since Global Warming is happening in reality, and I know that we cant really stop it but we can slow it down. I was disappointed when thats their mission to I guess save the world.

Besides that, I loved  the book. I thought it was an awesome read. This book contains action, adventure, mystery, and love. So I advise all readers once again to pick up this book or this series. Oh, one more thing, Fang will and Max will you finally just kiss and get it over with.

I give this book 4 souls!

Review: Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports

Title: Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports
Author: James Patterson
Publisher: Little Brown
Release Date: May 29, 2007
Book: Bought

In MAXIMUM RIDE: SAVING THE WORLD AND OTHER EXTREME SPORTS, the time has arrived for Max and her winged "Flock" to face their ultimate enemy and discover their original purpose: to defeat the takeover of "Re-evolution", a sinister experiment to re-engineer a select population into a scientifically superior master race...and to terminate the rest. Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gasman, and Angel have always worked together to defeat the forces working against them--but can they save the world when they are torn apart, living in hiding and captivity, halfway across the globe from one another?

James Patterson did it again for me. Seriously! His words captured my soul and dragged me into the life of avian children as they fly across the world, escaping danger, and trying to save the world. I know i said this in the other review of your book. But I repeat I love the way you made your chapters’ sooo short. I love it. I now have the assurance of being able to finish the chapter before I put my book down.

I know I'm a guy and everything but seriously guys, stop acting like jerks. The girls in this book have more class than you. But saying that does not cover up for what some of the girls do in this book either. Max! Besides the little drama in this book, I still sucked up all its contents as I soared across the pages.

Readers of planet Earth I have a very important message to you guys and girls . Like everyone has an opinion, and you should follow your own. But I believe this series is amazing and you should check it out. The only way you know for sure if you like it or not is if you read.

Title: Schools Out Forever

The heart-stopping quest of six winged kids--led by fourteen-year-old Max--to find their parents and investigate the mind-blowing mystery of their ultimate destiny continues when they're taken under the wing of an FBI agent and attempt, for the first time, to live "normal" lives. But going to school and making friends doesn't stop them from being relentlessly hunted by sinister spies, who lead Max to face her most frightening match yet: a new and better version of herself.

Mr. Patterson you did it again. Your book captured my soul and once again I was flying the skys with Max and her gang. However, now I'm sitting in a desk with her. What is happening? I thought I was done with school. They think by putting them in school they would be safe. Boy were they wrong. Their one chance with a normal life and they are still hunted by spies. Why?

You think being hunted by spies was the worst thing that could happen to Max. Wrong! She gets to meet a very special person in this book, one she never thought she would meet. Herself!

I dont want to spoil the book if aomeone hasnt read it. But Max is coming closer with someone. I wont say who because you have to read it for yourself.

Filled with action, adventure, a little romance, and some really breath taking moments. James Patterson has turned a simple series into one that captures the souls of people. I enjoy flying with Max and her gang as she once again sets out for the Maximum Ride.

Review: The Book Theif

Title: The Book Theif
Author: Markus Zusak
Publisher: Random House
Release Date: March 14, 2006
Book: Book Club

Trying to make sense of the horrors of World War II, Death relates the story of Lisel-a young German girl whose book-stealing and story-telling talents help sustain her family and the Jewish man they are hiding, as well as their neighbors.

The story of Lisel is one that can be written for anyone and one that will capture the hearts of many. This book I believe has no faults and was written so beautifully that it mad me cry. The events that occur in this book were shocking. I couldnt imagine what the characters in the book were going through.

This book was well-written that it didnt need suspense to bring forth a disastrous event. In fact, death, the narrator informs the reader of the event and so there wasnt a need to bring it up for a second time. However, as the event occured I felt like it happened with no warning.

I dont think The Book Theif will ever leave my memory as being one of my most favorite that I have gotten the chance to read. I know I say this too almost every book I review but I beg the readers to go check out this book and listen to the breath taking stories of Lisel for yourself. This book will not dissaapoint you.

I give this book 5 souls!

Review: The Angel Experiment (Maximum Ride Series #1)

 Title: The Angel Experiment
Author: James Patterson
Publisher: Little, Brown
Release Date: April 2005
Book: Bought

In James Patterson's blockbuster series, fourteen-year-old Maximum Ride, better known as Max, knows what it's like to soar above the world. She and all the members of the "flock"--Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gasman and Angel--are just like ordinary kids--only they have wings and can fly. It may seem like a dream come true to some, but their lives can morph into a living nightmare at any time...like when Angel, the youngest member of the flock, is kidnapped and taken back to the "School" where she and the others were experimented on by a crew of wack jobs. Her friends brave a journey to blazing hot Death Valley, CA, to save Angel, but soon enough, they find themselves in yet another nightmare--this one involving fighting off the half-human, half-wolf "Erasers" in New York City. Whether in the treetops of Central Park or in the bowels of the Manhattan subway system, Max and her adopted family take the ride of their lives. Along the way Max discovers from her old friend and father-figure Jeb--now her betrayed and greatest enemy--that her purpose is save the world--but can she?
When I first started reading this book I was amazed of how short the chapters were because I have thing about finishing the chapter whenever I put a book down. So I loved the two to four page chapters.

I always dreamed of having wings like Max when I read this book , but then I thought of all the terrors that tormented her throughout the book. She couldnt be a normal teen. Not being able to hang out with friends, going to see movies, going on a date. She was always hiding. I couldnt live that part. But thankfully she had her family.

I literally finished this book within two hours. I was so engulfed with its words that I started to ignore people and try to enter the world of Max and her crazy life. Dreaming I could fly, having the wind blow into my face as I soared through the clouds. But then I had to enter reality when all of this wasnt real.

This book captured my soul, and my heart. I felt like a different person when I read this book. In felt like i was having my own Maximum Ride. I advise all readers of any age to pick up this books and dive into its contents. I'm sure you will love it, just as much as me.

I give this book 5 souls!

Review: Dust City

Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?

His son, that's who.

Ever since his father's arrest for the murder of Little Red Riding Hood, teen wolf Henry Whelp has kept a low profile in a Home for Wayward Wolves . . . until a murder at the Home leads Henry to believe his father may have been framed.

Now, with the help of his kleptomaniac roommate, Jack, and a daring she-wolf named Fiona, Henry will have to venture deep into the heart of Dust City: a rundown, gritty metropolis where fairydust is craved by everyone-and controlled by a dangerous mob of Water Nixies and their crime boss leader, Skinner.

Can Henry solve the mystery of his family's sinister past? Or, like his father before him, is he destined for life as a big bad wolf?

When I was little I heard stories of the Big Bad Wolf. He would creep into my nightmares and torment me. I stay awake at night trying to get him out of my head, but nothing worked. However, in Dust City there are things worse than the Big Bad Wolf. There's Dust!

At the begginning the book started off slow, but what book doesnt. However, as I dove deeper into its contents, I was ensnared by its words. I had trouble putting the book down from then on.

The story is mainly about the Big Bad Wolfs son, Henry, and how he goes out to find the truth of his dads killings. Will he find the truth, or will he live to everyones expectations and be like his father. All I can tell you is too read.

Filled with action, adventure, romance, sadness, and wickedness. I recommend all readers who want to learn the truth of the Big Bad Wolf to check this book out.

I give this book 4 souls!

Reveiw: The Hunger Games

Titile: The Hunger Games
Author: Suzanne Collins
Publisher: Scholastic
Release Date: October 1, 2008
Book: Book Club

In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives alone with her mother and younger sister, regards it as a death sentence when she steps forward to take her sister's place in the Games. But Katniss has been close to dead before—and survival, for her, is second nature. Without really meaning to, she becomes a contender. But if she is to win, she will have to start making choices that will weigh survival against humanity and life against love.

I never imagined a book to take my breath away or have my soul leave my body and enter the pages of a book. I was wrong. This book ensnared me and brought me into the daring life of Katniss Everdeen as she struggled through the one game that brought horror and sadness to not only her eyes but the whole nation of Panem. ”Ladies and Gentleman, let the Seventy-Fourth Hunger Games begin."
Katniss, since her father died, has taken the role of caring for her family. Providing food, protection, and care for her mother. When her sister gets chosen for the games, Katniss does not hesitate in steeping in for her sister, taking her place, alongside Peeta. From there, they are trown into a wild game where their only chance of survival is to kill.
Filled with action, sorrow, and romance, Ms. Collins has turned one simple book into a bestseller. I advise all readers to check this book out.
