Review: Incarnate

Title: Incarnate
Author: Jodi Meadows
Publisher: Harper Collins
Release Date: February 12. 2012
Book: Giveaway

NEWSOUL
Ana is new. For thousands of years in Range, a million souls have been reincarnated over and over, keeping their memories and experiences from previous lifetimes. When Ana was born, another soul vanished, and no one knows why.

NOSOUL
Even Ana’s own mother thinks she’s a nosoul, an omen of worse things to come, and has kept her away from society. To escape her seclusion and learn whether she’ll be reincarnated, Ana travels to the city of Heart, but its citizens are suspicious and afraid of what her presence means. When dragons and sylph attack the city, is Ana to blame?

HEART
Sam believes Ana’s new soul is good and worthwhile. When he stands up for her, their relationship blooms. But can he love someone who may live only once, and will Ana’s enemies—human and creature alike—let them be together? Ana needs to uncover the mistake that gave her someone else’s life, but will her quest threaten the peace of Heart and destroy the promise of reincarnation for all?

Reincarnation! The thing the people of Heart rely on when one of their own die. Coming back some time later with the memory of the past life, the people of Heart have seen to move on and learn from their past memories. Until one night when a baby is born and something out of the ordinary happens. She has "no soul." No recollection of a past life, and she is forced to start from the beginning.

Ana learns to become an independent girl, but one that learns to have a defensive attitude. Life growing up wasn't easy for her. Her mother treated her with an abusive attitude, that made hating her very easy for Ana. Ana sets out to find why she was created, and what her purpose in life is. Even if she  is a "no soul."

This book was an easy read and the plot was enjoyable till the very end. The characters were lovable even though Ana does have a sharp tongue. The romance between Ana and Sam I found weird. It wasn't an all out romance but it was one that gradually grew as you read on. The thing I found weird was that up until the very end, Ana still gave Sam a defensive attitude even though she knew he wasn't trying to hurt her. I do understand that with her younger life living with Li was hard but that doesn't mean that everyone is like that and you should give a person a chance before you judge them.

Overall this book was a book worth reading. Filled with fantasy, adventure, action, and love, I recommend this book to all readers. It may not be a book that you would possibly love the first time you read but it is a book you will love the second time through.

I give this book 4 souls!

Review: Crescendo

Title:Crescendo
Author: Becca Fitzpatrick
Publisher:Simon and Schuster
Release Date: October 19, 2010
Book: Borrowed

Nora Grey's life is still far from perfect. Surviving an attempt on her life wasn't pleasant, but at least she got a guardian angel out of it: a mysterious, magnetic, gorgeous guardian angel. But, despite his role in her life, Patch has been acting anything but angelic. He's more elusive than ever and even worse, he's started spending time with Nora's arch-enemy, Marcie Millar.

Nora would have hardly noticed Scott Parnell, an old family friend who has moved back to town, if Patch hadnt been acting so distant. Even with Scott's totally infuriating attitude Nora finds herself drawn to him - despite her lingering feeling that he's hiding something.

Haunted by images of her murdered father, and questioning whether her nephilim bloodline has anything to do with his death, Nora puts herself increasingly in dangerous situations as she desperately searches for answers. But maybe some things are better left buried, because the truth could destroy everything - and everyone - she trusts.

Drama!!!! This is the one word that I could use to describe every scene in this book. Crazy!!!! This is the one word I would describe every character in the whole book. These two books are what made this book turn from being an ordinary book to a book of high exception to readers. Some stuff are meant to be kept a secret for the sake of others. However, secrets come spilling out from the beginning to the end.

The characters as I have described in the beginning are crazy, and with craziness, drama is created. Through out this whole book, the relationship between Patch and Nora is growing but after one night all things go down the drain. Now Patch is hanging around with Nora's least favorite person, Marcie, and things are not all talk but a little touch touchy comes into play. Round One of drama starts.

Throughout this book I have read about more drama than there was in my high school, in all fours years that I have attended. However, with the drama that was presented in this book, it was able to make me want to read more. Every person needs drama in their life. Whether it be for only a minute or a whole day. Drama is what makes a story come too life. However, too much drama can bring a book too its knees.

This book was presented well, and I absolutely enjoyed it. I recommend this book too all readers and have them have their drama in their life presented to them through this book.

I give this book 4 souls!

Review: Hush, Hush

Title: Hush, Hush
Author: Becca Fitzpatrick
Publisher: Simon and Schuster
Release Date: October 13, 2009
Book: Book Club

For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her...until Patch comes along.
With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment, but after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is far more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.
For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.

I know another angel book...but oh well. The cover was the thing to first catch my attention. I loved how it captures how an angel falls from the heavens above. To top it off, when I sneaked a peek at the synopsis, I knew I had to read this book. It seemed like the angelic thing for me do at the time. And boy was I right!

Nora Grey is the type of girl who does well in school and doesn't let boys get in her way. Until the new boy, Patch, shows up and all of a sudden Nora can't keep her eyes off of him. However, things are not always as what they appear.
Underneath Patch's shirts lies a secret that is both wonderful but dangerous in the end. But, girls are always attracted to the dark mysterious boys.

I loved how the whole love connection started off a whole mysterious thing when she wanted to find things out about him. Which led to stalking him, but when she found out the truth, she wasn't running away but towards him. How strange. Their love is a passion that can't be blown out, no matter how hard the wind blows.

This book is filled to the brim with mysterious truths that unfold throughout the book, action, adventure, love, and a beauty that no human could possibly expect. Everyone should give this book a chance.

I give this book 5 souls!

Review: Hades

Title: Hades
Author: Alexandra Adornetto
Publisher: Feiwel and Friends
Release Date: August 30, 2011
Book: Borrowed

Heaven Help Her.

Bethany Church is an angel sent to Earth to keep dark forces at bay. Falling in love was never part of her mission, but the bond between Beth and her mortal boyfriend, Xavier Woods, is undeniably strong. But even Xavier’s love, and the care of her archangel siblings, Gabriel and Ivy, can’t keep Beth from being tricked into a motorcycle ride that ends up in Hell. There, the demon Jake Thorn bargains for Beth’s release back to Earth. But what he asks of her will destroy her, and quite possibly, her loved ones, as well.

It's more like Heaven Help Me...I do not know what Ms. Adornetto did but it was amazing. I dove into this book and was captured by its very soul. From beginning  to end I was on my toes the  whole time wondering what was going to happen.

The story mainly focuses on Jake and Bethany with a few chapters dedicated to   Gabriel, Ivy, Xavier, Molly, who spend their time trying to rescue Bethany. Yes! I did say Molly. She is now in the loop and knows the big secret, but surprisingly she takes it really well. For now! Also an new angel has come into play, Michael, what will he do to save Bethany from Hades.

The plot was good, I knew that something was off when Bethany got on the bike, but it had to happen, I felt myself trying to yell at her to get off the bike, But then I realized I wasn't in the book. Trying to get revenge on her for turning him down, what better way to do it than take her to Hades.

This book was a book filled with action, adventure, new friendships, trust, and love. I am happy to say this book is an angel book that all readers must read.

I give this book 5 souls!

Review: Halo

Title: Halo
Author: Alexandra Adornetto
Publisher: Feiwel and Friends
Release Date: August 31, 2010
Book: Bought

Three angels – Gabriel, the warrior; Ivy, the healer; and Bethany, the youngest and most human – are sent by Heaven to bring good to a world falling under the influence of darkness. They must work hard to conceal their luminous glow, superhuman powers, and, most dangerous of all, their wings, all the while avoiding all human attachments.
Then Bethany meets Xavier Woods, and neither of them is able to resist the attraction between them. Gabriel and Ivy do everything in their power to intervene, but the bond between Xavier and Bethany seems too strong. Then comes the brooding and popular new transfer, Jake Thorn... who just so happens to be in Bethany's class. Something about Jake seems to be hiding something darker, something more powerful than expected. That thing, and Xavier, distracts Bethany to a point that Gabriel and Ivy are concerned.
The angel’s mission is urgent, and dark forces are threatening. Will love ruin Bethany or save her?

Okay people here comes another Angel book. And you know what? I loved it! I loved the whole thing of angels sent to right the wrong of humans and stop the forces of evil. Otherwise known as the Devil and his companions. This book I was able to dive in and let it capture my soul.

Yes I have to say the book did start off slow and it did take a couple chapters for me to finally get fully into it but from then on it was all non-stop. Another thing i found interesting was that it contained biblical references. Yeah and if your not fully accustomed to it, you may miss out on a few things but nothing major. So don't worry.

I love Beth. She is the most sweetest, most innocent girl anyone could ever know. However, when landing first on Earth, her siblings are against her being there because of her lack of experience. Foe example, when Beth falls in love with a mortal boy and they hook up. Uh-oh.

I loved how when Ms. Adornetto is able to write the angels as being strong, but weak inside. I expected them to have more problems when they first arrived on Earth but in the end they were making food like it was nothing new too them. With the twists that us as readers got were another thing i loved about this book. Unexpected things happen too us and we just have to trust both in God and our hearts that everything will be okay.

I give this book 5 souls!

Best Novel of 2011

Hey guys, I'm going to be doing something different today for my post. I was asked by Strange Chemistry Books to blog about what I thought was the 2011 best YA book. And here is what I say!

Legend has to be the first dystopian novel I could have read. And I loved it! Filled with passion, action, love, sadness, and almost every emotion a book can hold is in this book. This book was able to make me cry. With that being said, I am a guy and its takes a lot for a guy to cry especially for a book.
To find out that a life you have been living has been a whole lie can really change a person from both the inside and outside. I can say so much about this book but it is better if you check it out. This book, no doubt, is the best dystopian book of the year. And with no doubt that everyone who loves to read should check out this book and see what world you will dive and become attach too.

I want to say thanks to Strange Chemistry for letting me express what book i thought was the best for the 2011 year. And i can't wait too see what 2012 book will capture my heart.

Review: Halflings

Title: Halflings
Author: Heather Burch
Publisher: Zondervan
Release Date: February 1, 2012
Book: Netgalley

As the mysteries behind the boys’ powers, as well as her role in a scientist’s dark plan, unfold, Nikki is faced with choices that will affect the future of an entire race of heavenly beings, as well as the precarious equilibrium of the earthly world.

Okay I haven't read a book about Angles, or in this case Halflings, for a while so I was super excited to dive into this book. What else can I say about this book except that it rocked. I literally finished this book within 1 hour! Can you believe it because I couldn't until my nook pages wouldn't flip anymore. At first I thought I did something wrong, but then i realized I had finished the book.

The plot was very easy to follow in the case that these "Lost Boys" were sent to protect this girl from Darkness. Most books are like this and of course the main characters fall for one another but its a whole I can't be with you because I will be doing something really wrong. We all read this in almost any love book basically. However, with this book I enjoyed it. I haven't really read a book with a forbidden like the way it is portrayed in this book.

I enjoyed the characters, although sometimes they needed to get their attitude readjusted. The way that they put themselves out to protect Nikki was kinda strong since they were jumping at every little thing, But overall every little thing needed to be jumped at. I cried when her dog Bo died. And then I was all pissed off when her parents had been keeping all those secrets from her. And at the end there were still some secrets that were not revealed.

Overall I loved this book and I ask that all readers check this book out. I wasn't disappointed and you won't be either.

I give this book 5 souls!

Review: The New Phenomenon

He reaches out to "The Three" seeking some semblance of friendship in his new hometown. When "The Three" confront Christian about the secret he hides, Christian is faced with a huge problem. Will this secret cost Christian his friends, his family, his freedom, and even his life?

I'm surprised...Yes I know I have been saying that lately about most of the books I have been reading. But lately, I have been surprised. When I first saw this book, I thought it had something to do with the idea of "Aliens" or something of that sort. But no. This book focused on the idea of how certain children, otherwise know know as "Phenomenon," have special abilities and how the government secretly is experimenting on them. So I dove right into the book and read about how one boy's life is changed forever.

This book was a real easy read and i was able to finish it in a matter of hours. There were no parts that I found boring or had to force myself to continue reading about. This book was a book that just went with it. I wouldn't say it was my favorite of all time books. However, it was a book i did come to enjoy reading.

I loved the characters and especially Alexis power to hear things over a great distance. I didn't mind the other kids power, but having Alexis's power would be something I would rather enjoy.

This book was a book I had come to enjoy over the few hours that it took me to read. I hope all readers check this book out and come to enjoy it as I have.

I give this book 4 souls!

Review: Hereafter

Title: Hereafter
Author: Tara Hudson
Publisher: Harper Collins
Release Date: June 7, 2011
Book: checked-out at local library

Can there truly be love after death?
Drifting in the dark waters of a mysterious river, the only thing Amelia knows for sure is that she's dead. As a ghost, she can do nothing but will him to live. Yet in an unforgettable moment of connection, she helps him survive.
Amelia and Joshua grow ever closer as they begin to uncover the strange circumstances of her death and the secrets of the dark river that held her captive for so long. But even while they struggle to keep their bond hidden from the living world, a frightening spirit named Eli is doing everything in his power to destroy their newfound happiness and drag Amelia back into the ghost world . . . forever.

How can I put this except, this book ROCKED! I was hooked from the first page. The way it was presented was interesting as I as the reader, learned of the characters lives as they did for the first time, and why they had no memory of them.

The passion and love that the two main characters was one of the main reasons I loved the book. Although one was a living person and another a ghost, that didn't stop them from showing every ounce of feelings that they shared for each other. However, it was kinda shocking when all of a sudden Amelia just disappeared. Especially when things were heating up.

Finding out the characters lives along with the characters themselves was exciting as well because you were just as surprised as they were. The author presented this book wanting the reader to be on the same page as the characters were to avoid confusion.

With love that is worth fighting for, Hereafter is a book of amazing plot twists that will leave the reader wanting more. This book is a book that is not worth giving up.

I give this book 5 souls!

Book: Sent by Publisher

Sixteen-year-old Jude has to get out of tiny Churchtown. She has to escape her outcast status and her pathetic dad, who hasn’t gotten past her mother’s death. With bold and magnetic Stella by her side, Jude knows she’s capable of anything. But Stella’s influence extends well beyond the theater. Soon Stella’s wild and dangerous streak begins to cause trouble for Jude — yet Jude can’t bring herself to abandon Stella and the attention she’s always craved. And besides, now that Stella’s back, there’s no stopping her. In Jude’s dark and tangled story, British author Joanna Nadin plumbs the aftermath of loss and the consequences of becoming the person you always wished you were.

Shocked....this is what went through my mind when I finished the book. The way this book dragged me in and wanted to find out more and the then find out it wasn't real...but a "wonderland."

For Jude, life is easy, and with her best friend Stella she is able to become someone. Although the person isn't the person that she should be. The connection that her Stella is a love hate relationship. However, when she starts to realize the mistakes she is making, she is too late and the only way for her to make things better is to end things for real.

I loved how the author was able to keep my mind thinking of one thing and then totally do a 360. The idea to make something feel like reality but in truth its all in your mind. Sometimes your mind can play tricks on your mind that may be good but otherwise be harmful to you.

Wonderland is a book that will leave you second guessing yourself as reality becomes a "Wonderland." I would like all readers to check out this book.

I give this book 4 souls!

Review: Inheritance

Title: Inheritance
Author: Christopher Paolini
Publisher: Random House
Release Date: November 8, 2011
Book: Bought

Not so very long ago, Eragon—Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider—was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.

Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chances.

The Rider and his dragon have come further than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaësia? And if so, at what cost?

I am happy....these are the words I said when I finished this book. I am happy not to see this series end but the way this series made its way back up to being one of my favorite series. Being let down as a reader by the third book, whatever that's in the past. This fourth book was a book that I did not put sown for one second. With its twists and turns, i was on my toes the whole way.

The characters I loved, and yes I was happy to finally read about the man that has caused so much trouble these past years. I loved how as a rider, you share a special connection with your dragon. Your fighting as one person. Love for one another is the most special thing that a rider and a dragon can have for each other. And that is what Eragon and Saphira shared page after page throughout this book.

When it came down to the final battle, I didn't know what to expect. But wow, the battle scene and how it was portrayed was cool. I loved how Eragon was able to have Galbatorix feel all the pain he has caused when making his so called "perfect world."

With the final installment of Mr. Paolini's fantastic series. I am glad that I picked up this series and dove into the world of Alagaesia. I would ask all readers to check out this series when you have the chance because I loved it and so will you.

I give this book 5 souls!

Review: Feyland: The Dark Realm

Title: Feyland: The Dark Realm
Author: Anthea Sharp
Publisher: N/A
Release Date: December 16, 2011
Book: Given to by Author

WHEN A GAME…

Feyland is the most immersive computer game ever designed, and Jennet Carter is the first to play the prototype. But she doesn’t suspect the virtual world is close enough to touch — or that she’ll be battling for her life against the Dark Queen of the faeries.

TURNS REAL…

Tam Linn is the perfect hero — in-game. Too bad the rest of his life is seriously flawed. The last thing he needs is rich-girl Jennet prying into his secrets, insisting he’s the only one who can help her.

WINNING IS EVERYTHING…

Together, Jennet and Tam enter the Dark Realm of Feyland, only to discover that the entire human world is in danger. Pushed to the limit of their abilities, they must defeat the Dark Queen… before it’s too late.

I wasn't sure at first with this book, whether I was going to like it or not. But as I opened it and dove right in this book surprised me. I liked the idea of how a video game becomes reality. Not all at once but gradually with every page that was turned. The pull of a simple game like this one brought the characters to the decision of life and death.

The characters as I would put were interesting. Having the main character struggle so much to get what was taken from her was, I know this a bad thought, but very interesting. All she wanted to find was a person capable of beating the game but instead found a person that she loves and cares for. It's funny when people are searching for things, that they find something else as well.

This book was an easy read with a plot that proved easy to follow. I just hope that none of my games ever become reality because I don't think I would be here right now. With one last thing to say feelings for a person come when you least expect them too. With that being said I hope that all readers check out this book because it proved to be a book worth reading.

I give this book 4 souls!

To all readers in the vast universe. This book is currently now on sale as of yesterday, and is available in paperback and e-book. Also as a special treat the author will have the e-book on sale for .99 all weekend. So do take your lovely time and purchase this awesome read.

Review: The Katerina Triology, Volume 1: The Gathering Storm

Title: The Gathering Storm
Author: Robin Bridges
Publisher: Random House
Release Date: January 10, 2012
Book: Netgalley

St. Petersburg, Russia, 1888. As she attends a whirl of glittering balls, royal debutante Katerina Alexandrovna, Duchess of Oldenburg, tries to hide a dark secret: she can raise the dead. No one knows. Not her family. Not the girls at her finishing school. Not the tsar or anyone in her aristocratic circle. Katerina considers her talent a curse, not a gift. But when she uses her special skill to protect a member of the Imperial Family, she finds herself caught in a web of intrigue.

The time has come for Katerina to embrace her power, but which side will she choose—and to whom will she give her heart?

This is the first book that I have read that has a necromancer as a main character. I immediately became excited. I dove into the book and took off. I was ready too enter the world of Katerina. However, as I kept reading the pages kept turning slower and slower and I was losing the speed I once had when I took of from the start. I thought I was going to force myself to finish this book but I didn't give up hope. As the book was coming down to its last 100 pages, it started to pick up.

The plot was easy to follow and it proved to be a somewhat fast read. Except for those few bumps in the middle. I loved the characters, especially the bad characters, due to the fact that they prove exciting.

I ask all readers to read this book and give it your opinion. Maybe for you this book will be a easy read right from the start with no bumps.

I give this book 4 souls!

Review: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows

Title: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows
Author: J. K. Rowling
Publisher: Scholastic
Release Date: July 21, 2007
Book: Bought

As the novel begins, Harry, Ron, and Hermione are on the run from Lord Voldemort, whose minions of Death Eaters have not only taken control of the Minister of Magic but have begun to systematically - and forcibly - change the entire culture of the magic community: Muggle-born wizards, for example, are being rounded up and questioned, and all "blood traitors" are being imprisoned. But as Voldemort and his followers ruthlessly pursue the fugitive with the lightning bolt scar on his forehead, Potter finally uncovers the jaw-dropping truth of his existence.

I can't belive it. The final book. I waited for the midnight release of it, and as I waited my heart slowly stopped. Part of me didn't want to read it because it was the final book and I didn't want this to end. As I got to the check out line and the book was handed to me, my heart skipped a beat. What should I do? Should I read it? I don't know. I got home knowing that we would be driving to Minnesota the next. When I woke up, I got in the car, and thought to myself and said that I needed to do this. I opened the book and dove into the ending of Harry Potter's life.

I wish I could say that this book is all cheerful and giddy. However, its not. Most of this book is sad. People die while standing up to face Voldemort. Life's are changed when loved one don't come back. Above all, Harry Potter must make the ultimate decision when it comes down to the end.

I loved this series from the start and I still loved this series until the vey end. I don't know if I will ever not love this series. This series started it all for me. From hating books to finding out what they can do for me. The joy and excitement that each chapter brought. I bow down to  you J. K. Rowling for giving me this joy. I insist that all readers check out this series and dive into the world that Ms. Rowling has created for us.

I give this book 5 souls!

Review: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Title: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Author: J. K. Rowling
Publisher: Scholastic
Release Date: September 1, 2006
Book: Bought

As the novel begins, a "grim mood" has fallen over the country. The minions of Lord Voldemort (a.k.a. He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named) continue to grow as his evil spreads. The Ministry of Magic has stepped up security everywhere, and as Harry enters his sixth year at Hogwarts, he begins to see himself -- and everyone around him -- in a different, more discerning, light. With rumors swirling about Harry being the prophesied "Chosen One," he begins taking private lessons from Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore.

As Dumbledore prepares Harry for his destined clash with Voldemort by revealing jaw-dropping insights into the Dark Lord's past -- who his parents were, what happened after he left Hogwarts, and more -- Harry also struggles to uncover the identity of the Half-Blood Prince, the past owner of a potions textbook he now possesses that is filled with ingenious, potentially deadly, spells. But Harry's life is suddenly changed forever when someone close to him is heinously murdered right before his eyes....

New things are about to take place at Hogwarts. However, not all things will be for the good. With that saying there are a lot of good things that do take place throughout the year. With Voldemort and his followers causing trouble the new Minister of Magic turns to Harry for support. To the magical society Harry is a role-model due to his infamous nickname "The Boy Who Lived."
Will Harry survive yet another year at Hogwarts? All I can tell you readers is to do what you do best. Read!

This book proved to be the most exciting of the books so far. Harry is given a special task of taking private lessons with Dumbledore. Finally Harry is able to learn special skills from the greatest wizard of all. However, lessons proved to be something Harry did not expect. Traveling into the pensive to learn the life of Voldemort, or as he wsa called before Tom Riddle. Harry with the help of Dumbledore will uncover the truth behind the location of the seven horcruxes.

Learning about how to create a horocrux is something I found really disturbing. The idea of just splitting your soul and putting it into an other object was wrong of all sorts. If this were real in the world that we have today, I would wish nobody to have to suffer any sort of predicament.

Filled again with magic around every corner this book is both exciting and sad. I hope that all readers no matter the age will check out this book, and enjoy a world full of magic. I once again tip my hat to J. K. Rowling for creating a book that turns into a masterpiece.

I give this book 5 souls!

Review: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Title: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Author: J. k. Rowling
Publisher: Scholastic
Release Date: September 1, 2004
Book: Bought

There is a door at the end of a silent corridor, and it's haunting Harry Potter's dreams. Why else would he be waking in the middle of the night, screaming in terror?

Here are just a few of the things on Harry's mind:

• A Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher with a personality like poisoned honey
• A venomous, disgruntled house-elf
• Ron as Keeper of the Gryffindor Quidditch team
• The looming terror of the end-of-term Ordinary Wizarding Level exams

. . . and of course, the growing threat of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.

I knew right when I heard this book was released that I had to find someway to get to a store to buy the book. my adrenline started going and I was litterally jumping off the walls because I was so excited. I got to the store, thanks to my mom, ran to the book selection and held the book up with success. I knew that just by the feeling I had when holding the book, that it was going to be an awesome. Readers, I was right.

Imagine a world where magic is at every corner, monsters of great fear and excitement, tests that would leave any student pulling their hair out, and above all a dark wizard whp wants nothing more than to destroy one boy who is otherwise known as Harry Potter, "The Boy Who Lived."

What I loved about this book is that it always kept me on my feet. I never once had to put down the book without sadness covering my heart. This book had so many twists and turns in it that no reader could have the chance of ever putting this book down until the very last page. This book proved to be magical that I felt magic flowing around me as I let myself escape into the world of Harry Potter.

Dolores Umbridge. A sweet, little woman who has nothing but kindness in her heart. WRONG! This lady reminded me of a lady who would bake you cookies, and then while you were alseep, eat your heart out. Yeah, I know Im going a bit extreme, but once you read about this lady, you will be thinking the exact same thoughts. I have a word of advice, never trust the people who show too much kindness. NEVER!

Overall the fifth installment of this series proved to magical beyond comparison. I implore that all readers check out this series. This series got me into the world of books and I believe that this book is so magical that it can let you love the world of reading more than you do.

I give this book 5 souls!
