I was excited that when the first book was released it wasn't going to be that long for the second one to follow. Leaving right off where the first book ended, we are able to jump right back into this strange but magical world that Ms. Hocking has created for us. I knew this book was one I had high hopes for and when finally having the chance to dive into these pages, I wasn't one who was filled with regret.

Wendy, for me, is one hell of a character throughout this book. She has so much going on and sometimes secrets are best left untold. Who knows what they changes they can bring out for not only you but the people around you. With secrets becoming unveiled, Wendy has other things on her mind that involve two boys of two very different worlds. Can she choose one without hurting the other or will she lose both in the end. All I can say for these two things is for you to take risk and read.

Ms. Hocking through the action, the love, and of course the sadness, she is able to create a story with a plot that one cannot help but love. Captivating beyond belief, one will find it hard to put this thrilling adventure down. Words cannot help me describe how grateful I was to stumble upon this book and the one before. I am eagerly waiting for the third and final novel to fall into these hands of mine. So to end this I just have one thing left to say. I encourage all readers to check out this fantastic book and series and enter its magical world that Ms. Hocking has created for all ages.
